"Scar Tree Lines is a contemporary view of regrowth lines from a scar tree in between Dubbo and Narromine.
Linoleum print cut is utilized as a form of carving out the pattern to represent the art form of dendroglyph trees (carved trees).
Applying ink and ochre to print or emboss the patterns on to paper. Some of the patterns have carved designs into the ochre while others have acrylic added.
Using yellow and white ochre a traditional pigment sourced from the Dubbo area, this is a contemporary modern re-viewing of our traditional art forms and bringing it forward to the modern day."
