Harsh desert heat. Dried riverbeds crackle as the last droplets of water evaporate from the sites where inland creeks once flowed, leaving only a striking pattern as an inkling of what once was.

Our earthy rug requires a beautiful environment to showcase its delicate hand making process undertaken by our artisans in Nepal, who during 2020, were able to keep their families safe and fed, with weaving continuing at home.

Hand-knotted with nettle and art-silk, the subtle differentiations in fibre provides a stunning visual contrast.
