Description

Gaudí's Organic Echo - Super Neutrals | Batllo

Behold the Batllo rug from Tappeti, a textile tribute to the undulating organic design of Barcelona's iconic Casa Batllo. A single, nuanced hue reflects the very sandstone that gives the building its unique character. Through the artistry of hand-tufting, varying raised cut pile heights, felted wool, and loop pile converge to create a tangible echo of Gaudí's architectural vision.

Spain, a land of vibrant culture and groundbreaking artistry, is home to Antoni Gaudí's Casa Batllo, a masterpiece of Catalan Modernism in Barcelona. Its facade, like a dream rendered in stone, flows with organic forms and textures, inspiring the subtle yet profound design of this Tappeti rug.

Feel the rich interplay of New Zealand wool, the distinctive texture of felted wool, and the subtle sheen of art-silk, expertly hand-tufted to capture the essence of Gaudí's creativity. The varying pile heights create an undulating surface, inviting touch and mirroring the architectural fluidity of its muse.

The sophisticated, single-tone palette of the Batllo rug from Tappeti infuses interiors with an understated yet profound elegance. Its organic design and textural complexity offer a unique artistic statement, a subtle nod to architectural wonder.
